Manufacturing
The bespoke joinery manufacturing process in a workshop is meticulous and requires skilled craftsmanship combined with modern tools and techniques. It requires Craftsmen to:
• Design interpretation: review plans and preparing cutting list.
• Material preparation: wood sections, conditioning, planning and squaring.
• Cutting and shaping: rough cutting, precision cutting, shaping profiles.
• Joinery assembly: Joint cutting, test fitting, bonding.
• Surface preparation: sanding, filling.
• Finishing: Painting, polishing, varnishing, depending on the design.
• Quality control: Craftsmen inspect every detail for accuracy, smoothness, and adherence to design specifications. Components are trial assembled to ensure fit and functionality.
